Auxita Release 5.3.4
Last updated: July 23rd, 2025
🚀 What's new?
Capture Alternate Phone Numbers and Text Message Preference in Patient Profile
Following the updates to the Patient's Profile in the previous release, users can now record a patient’s preferred alternate phone number and text message preference directly within the Communication Preferences section of the Patient Profile.
These details will automatically populate onto Enrolment Forms, helping streamline form completion. If any updates are made to these fields within a form, the changes will also be saved back to the patient’s profile, ensuring information stays accurate and up to date.
Support for Image File Enrolments
Auxita now supports image file formats - including JPG, PNG, and TIF - for external enrolments processed via machine learning, in addition to standard PDFs.
This enhancement ensures a consistent and seamless review experience, regardless of the file type submitted.
Enhanced Facility Selection Dropdown
We’ve improved the Facility dropdown to make it easier for users to identify and select the correct location. Each entry now displays the facility name along with its full address, including street, city, and province - for greater clarity and accuracy during selection.
Enhanced Patient Search Results
We’ve improved the Patient Search experience for users with access to multiple facilities by including the Facility Name in the dropdown list during patient search. This enhancement provides additional context, enabling users to more confidently identify the correct patient, particularly in cases where patients have identical or similar names or appear in more than one facility.
Saved Signature Now Available for All Users (Excluding Patients)
All users (except patients) can now create and store a signature in their Account tab and optionally secure it with a 4-digit PIN.
For users with signing permissions, a new Apply Signature option will appear on Forms and Documents, making it easier to insert their saved signature quickly and securely.
This update is primarily applicable to users assigned as a delegate signee on behalf of a Health Care Provider, all user roles - including PSP Office Staff, Facility Office Staff, Field Case Managers and Navigators will see the signature setup option. Only those with appropriate permissions will be able to apply their signature.
🛠 Fixes
Signature Rendering Issue
We’ve fixed an issue where a user’s signature could appear blank on an Enrolment Form, even though Auxita had treated it as successfully applied. This was caused by a rendering delay in certain browsers (such as Chrome and Safari), where the platform captured the signature before it was fully displayed, resulting in a blank image.
Auxita now ensures that only a fully visible, completed signature is captured and applied. This update also prevents users from accidentally overwriting a valid signature with a blank one.
Resolved: Access to Signed Referral Consent
A customer reported an issue where they were unable to view a patient’s signed Referral Consent in Auxita. We identified that this occurred when a patient’s email and/or mobile number was removed from their profile after consent had been received, which caused the Referral Consent button to become inactive.
This has now been resolved. The Referral Consent button will remain active once consent is completed—even if the patient no longer has an active communication method saved to their profile.
