Auxita Release 5.2
Last updated: December 12th, 2024
🚀 What's new?
Ability to Complete Referral Enrolments with no Submission to PSP
Navigator and agnostic coordinator users can mark a Referral Enrolment as 'Complete' without submitting the Enrolment Form to the Patient Support Program (PSP). Upon selecting 'Complete,' a confirmation message appears. Users must then click 'Proceed' to finalize the enrolment as complete or 'Cancel' to return and optionally submit the Enrolment to the PSP.
Referral Enrolments marked as 'Complete' are not sent to the PSP and remain inaccessible to PSP users.
👽 API Update
A new referral-completed
API event will be triggered upon enrolment completion. It uses the same content format as the existing referral-initialized
API event and will notify the referring partner accordingly.
Enhanced Patient Consent Workflow
We've expanded the patient consent functionality in the enrolment process to trigger notifications for the patient before an enrolment has been submitted. The button 'Request Patient Consent' will be visible on the enrolment card to be manually triggered. This provides patients with an opportunity to review and give consent prior to finalizing their enrolment.
Depending on the patient's demographics, notifications will follow our standard communication methods, either email or SMS.
Store Financial Assistance Card details in Auxita
The Insurance section in a patient’s profile has been enhanced to include Coverage Details. This upgraded section now includes Financial Assistance Cards and public and private insurance plan details.
With this update, you can conveniently store and manage your patients' Financial Assistance Card information directly within Auxita, ensuring seamless access and improved efficiency.
Create Program Patients in Auxita
PSP Office Staff and Field Case Managers can now create Program Patients in Auxita. This functionality allows users to add patient profiles with enrolment records for patients participating in a Patient Support Program outside of Auxita.
With Program Patients, users can:
- Track treatment progress.
- Facilitate document sharing.
- Clearly indicate PSP enrolment status before initiating reimbursement forms.
This feature ensures seamless program management and enhances patient support workflows.
🌟 Improvements
View changes when Insurance details are updated
Users can now easily track updates to Public and Private Insurance details with the new Activity Table feature. For any Insurance Updated actions, simply click the change icon (double arrows) to review the specific fields that were modified.
- Old values are displayed in red with a strikethrough.
- New values are highlighted in green.
This clear visual format provides an intuitive view of all changes, ensuring you stay informed about updates at a glance.
Update Date Picker
Our date picker has been upgraded to offer a cleaner, more modern design that works seamlessly across all devices—mobile, tablet, and desktop. Users now have flexible input options: select a date using the picker or type the desired date directly into the field.
The improved navigation lets you easily switch between years, months, and days, making date selection smoother and more intuitive for everyone.
Prescription Forms are now filtered by Facility
Prescription forms in Auxita are now filtered by Facility, ensuring users only see forms relevant to their assigned Facility when searching. Previously, all prescription forms were globally accessible, which could lead to the selection of irrelevant forms in error.
This update streamlines the search process and reduces errors by tailoring form visibility to specific Facilities. Note:
- Users with access to multiple Facilities must now select a Facility before initiating a Prescription Form.
- If "All" is selected in the Facility dropdown, starting a new Prescription Form will be disabled.
Comment Indicator on Documents
Auxita now features a comment indicator on documents, providing a visual alert when comments are added. The indicator displays a count of all comments on each document, helping users identify items that may require their attention.
Clicking on the indicator allows users to view existing comments or add new ones, streamlining collaboration and communication.
Enhanced PA Expiry Date Field Functionality
The PA Expiry Date field on a patient's Prior Authorization table has been upgraded. Users can now directly edit the expiration date by selecting the field, eliminating the need to navigate menu options.
Any changes to the expiration date will automatically update the PA expiry date and all associated reminders for the patient, improving efficiency and accuracy.
New fields available for Auxita Forms
Auxita forms now support additional fields to meet specific requirements. These include:
- Patient's initials (last initial, first initial).
- Patient's age.
- Program ID (if available).
- Dates (including patient’s birthdate) in formats: YYYY, MM/YYYY, YYYY/MM.
These enhancements ensure forms are more versatile and adaptable to various needs.
Store a Patient's Program ID in Auxita
Field Case Managers and PSP Office Staff can now save or modify a patient's Program ID directly in Auxita for forms that require this information, improving data accessibility and form completion. The Program ID will be visible to any Auxita user who has permissions to the Patient Support Program.
dPA Signature Workflow customization
To address varying preferences among Program Partners, Auxita now offers a customizable dPA signature workflow. Previously, predefined signature sequences (e.g., Patient first, Prescriber second) were enforced, which may not have aligned with specific program needs.
With this update, users can:
- Choose the order in which they send signature requests.
- Tailor the workflow to match the program’s requirements, offering greater flexibility and control.
This enhancement removes constraints, empowering users to create a process that works best for them and their stakeholders.
